This year has been tough for all of us. COVID-19 has turned the world on its head, but no one feels it more than our children. Many kids throughout the country are having to attend their classes virtually. While this is a bummer for those still attending distance learning, it does make it easier for families to get away to San Diego. Bring your children and continue having access to their classes with our complimentary Wi-Fi. San Diego also features a variety of unique educational attractions that will have the family keep learning while having some fun on your journey to San Diego.

Maritime Museum of San Diego

One of the best ways to learn while having fun is by visiting a local museum, and San Diego has plenty of them! The Maritime Museum of San Diego is one such place where you can learn about the incredible ships used during naval battles. This local museum has restored vintage ships that you can board and check out in person. The entire museum is outdoors with the exception of going inside the ships, making this attraction a great option even during a health crisis. The complimentary tour takes approximately 45 minutes to complete but will give you inside details of these fascinating vessels. The Maritime Museum of San Diego is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and even later until 6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The museum can be found at 1492 N Harbor and is great for all ages.
