Vacation Rental FAQ

  • How do I reserve my vacation home?

    Reservations for our vacation rentals in San Diego can be made online at your convenience. Simply search your dates, choose your property, and select “Book Now.” You may also call our reservation agents at 858-598-3137.

  • What is required to secure my reservation?

    If booking is made 30 days outside of Arrival Date: Reservation Down Payment (20% of Total Cost), e-signed Rental Contract, and approved guest info. If booking is made within 30 days of Arrival Date: 100% payment, e-signed Rental Contract, and approved guest info.

  • What are the cancellation/refund policies?

    For any new reservation, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund (note: the 24-hour refund option doesn't apply if you book your stay the day before check-in). After that, you may cancel at least 30 days before check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment, minus the booking fee and associated taxes.   • How do I check into my vacation rental?

    Details on how to check in will be emailed to you a week prior to arrival, assuming full payment has been made and guest info has been received.

  • What time is check-in?

    Regular check-in time is 4 p.m. If early check-in is available, you will receive an email notification from us before your arrival.

  • What time is check-out?

    Regular check-out time is 10 a.m. If late check-out is available, you will receive an email from us prior to your departure.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Most of our vacation homes do not allow pets due to allergy concerns; however, there are some that do. Pets that shed, sit on furniture, or weigh over 20 pounds are not allowed. If you do bring an approved pet, there is a nonrefundable pet fee that will be added to your reservation. If an unapproved pet is discovered at the property, you will be asked to leave without refund as you will be in violation of the rental terms.

  • How long are the minimum stays?

    Generally there is a 3–4 night minimum stay at all homes. Some homes may require longer stays of 5–7 nights. Certain holidays and other popular times may require longer stays as well. See the property details of each home for specifics.

  • If I have questions during my stay, who can I call?

    710 Vacation Rentals is here to help before, during, and after your stay. We are easy to reach at 858-598-3137 throughout your visit. Our office is open 7 days a week, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. and we have staff on-call after hours for emergencies.

  • What is supplied in the home?

    Guests will arrive to find beds made up with professionally laundered and sanitized high-quality linens. Bath linens (which include bath towels and hand towels) are also provided, as well as beach towels. All of our vacation rentals will have a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, bowls, dinnerware, and flatware. Our vacation rentals also include a starter kit of dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

  • Do the rental homes come with bikes?

    Unfortunately, most homes do not come with bikes, but there are a number of local rental shops in the area. Most are within walking distance from our rental homes.

  • Who do I contact for baby gear rentals, like cribs or high chairs?

    We work with several companies in the area that can have whatever you need delivered and set up prior to your arrival.

  • What kind of extra amenities can I expect?

    A fully stocked kitchen, linens, beach towels, cable TV or streaming services, and WiFi are found in every home. In addition, a property-specific amenities list is included on each online property description, or your reservation agent can go over the specific amenities of each home with you.

  • Is daily housekeeping available?

    While your vacation rental is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival, should you require a mid-stay or daily housekeeping service, it is available for an additional fee.
