Rental FAQ’s

  • How do I reserve my vacation home?

    Reservations for our vacation rentals in San Diego can be made online 24 hours a day! Simply search your dates, select your property, and “Book Now.” You will receive a rental contract via email, which can be e-signed on a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

  • Is booking online secure?

    YES. is a secure network. Your personal and payment information are safe and confidential. Credit card numbers are encrypted when we receive!

  • What is required to secure my reservation?

    If booking is made outside 30 days of Arrival Date: Reservation Down Payment (20% of Total Cost), e-signed Rental Contract, and approved guest info. If booking is made within 30 days of Arrival Date: 100% payment, e-signed Rental Contract, and approved guest info.

  • What are the Payment Terms?

    If booking is made outside 30 days of Arrival Date, Reservation Down Payment (20% of Total Cost) is required immediately to reserve the dates. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. If booking is made within 30 days of Arrival Date, Total Cost is due immediately to reserve the dates.

  • How do I check-in to my vacation rental?

    Arrival Info will be emailed to you a week prior to arrival assuming full payment and guest info has been received.

  • What time is check-in?

    Regular check-in time is 4:00 pm. If available, early check-in costs $100 + taxes and guarantees 1pm check-in time. If early check-in is available, you will receive an email from our office the week of your arrival.

  • What time is check-out?

    Check-out time is 10:00 am. Late check-out option is available with 48 hour pre-approval and appropriate payment. Late check out is not available during same day turnovers and peak Summer season.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Most of our vacation homes do not allow pets due to allergy concerns; however, there are some that do. Pets that shed, sit on furniture, or weigh over 20 lbs are not allowed. There is a nonrefundable pet fee that will be added to your reservation should you decide to bring an approved pet. If unapproved pet is discovered at the property, you will be asked to leave without refund as you will be in violation of the rental Terms.

  • How long are the minimum stays?

    Generally there is a 3-4 night minimum stay at all homes. Some homes may require longer stays of 5-7 nights. Certain holidays and other popular times may require longer stays as well. See property details for specifics.

  • If I have questions during my stay, who can I call?

    710 Vacation Rentals is here to help before, during, and after your stay. We are easy to reach via email, text or phone throughout your visit! Our office is open 7 days a week 9a-6p and we have staff on-call after hours for emergencies.

  • What is supplied in the home?

    Guests will arrive to find professionally laundered and sanitized high quality linens on ready made beds. Bath sets (which include bath towels and hand towels) are also provided, as well as beach towels. All of our vacation rentals will have a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, bowls, dinner ware and flat ware. Our vacation rentals also include a starter kit of dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper. The starter kit is meant to get you by until you make it to the store. Our concierge service is available to stock the home if desired!

  • Does the home come with bikes?

    Unfortunately most homes do not come with bikes; but, there are a number of local rental shops in the area. Most within walking distance from our rental homes.

  • Who do I contact for Baby Supply Rentals?

    We work with several companies in the area. They can have whatever you need delivered and set up prior to your arrival!

  • What kind of extra amenities can I expect?

    Fully stocked kitchen, linens, beach towels, Cable TV or streaming services and WiFi in every home! Property specific amenities list will be found on the online property description, or your reservation agent can go over the specific amenities of each home.

  • Is daily housekeeping available?

    While your vacation rental is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival, should you require a mid-stay or daily housekeeping service, it is available for an additional fee.
