The view is excellent and there were no distracting noises. Just the relaxing sound of the ocean.

I really liked the home. It was cute and updated. The outside paint seemed recent, part of the fence was nice and new, I liked the 2 yards/sitting areas, the gravel walkways, along with the pavers, I liked the updated cabinets and counter tops, I liked the painted cement floors throughout, I thought the refrigerator and microwave were cute, and I especially liked the hidden dishwasher. I loved the huge island, stove, and storage area. That counter space came in very handy. It also had several empty drawers, cabinets and the bedroom closet to store our items. I liked the cobblestones at the bottom of the shower, it gave me a feeling of being in nature. I also liked the open feel to the shower. I also liked the wide sink and the overall utilization of space in the bathroom for the small size. My only 3 areas that I would say were the downside about being in a small home were: 1. In the bathroom the window was right next to the sitting area/yard for the main house, so I found it uncomfortable to open the window because I could already hear their conversations while the window was closed, plus it felt a little too close for comfort to be exposed in the bathroom within inches from a group of other people I didn't know. 2. I also wish there was a washer/dryer to tie it all together, and 3. I wish there was a way to plug up the outside to prevent the ants and spiders from coming into the home. They did have these liquid ant traps placed throughout the kitchen area which seemed to be working. So overall, it was a very cute place and I would come back again. They did a great job thinking about what we would need as a guest, then they provided it. Also, the Ocean Beach area is known for airplanes flying overhead regularly, so just know that will happen. But other than that, the location was in a quiet area where I could hear the birds chirping, it was about 1.5 blocks away from Ocean Beach, and also walking distance to all of the action on Newport St. So you could have the best of both worlds. The quiet retreat that wasn't too far from all the restaurants, bars, clubs, entertainment, shops, etc. Location wise I would come back as well. So home wise and location wise, I would come back, and I was glad that it was available for me to stay there, and I appreciated the owners thoughtfulness.
