San Diego Pride Parade Rally and Festival

The San Diego LGBT Pride Parade Rally and Festival has been operating since 1974 to bring together the diverse community and it’s skills, talents, and visions through a variety of programs. This annual event is the largest single-day civic event in Southern California, and one of the biggest pride parades in California,  which attracts over 200,000 people each year. Come out and celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community with this celebrated event that is approaching it’s 34th year of celebration.

This Year’s San Diego Pride Parade

The 2018 San Diego Pride Parade Rally and Festival will take place across July 13th and July 14th for a weekend of festivities. The rally will be held on Saturday July 13th and recognizes and honors leaders in the LGBT community who have strived to meet the many challenges in the community. Pride will recognize individuals and groups who have contributed to the LGBT community in efforts of leadership and activism at 6:00pm. The Pride parade will take place on July 14th starting at 11:00am and begins over at Hillcrest Pride Flag on University Avenue. The rally and parade are both free to attend for all individuals. The San Diego Pride Parade is always looking for contingents to participate in the parade in the military, youth march, and motorcycle contingents.
