Restaurant Week Pricing
During Restaurant Week, two-course menus are offered at $10.00, $15.00, and $20.00 per person, often for lunch. Three-course menus are offered for dinner, at the price points of $20.00, $30.00, $40.00, and $50.00 per person.
$50.00 per person might sound like a lot of money, but when you consider the participation of elite, high-quality restaurants such as The Westgate Room, 333 Pacific, and Market Restaurant & Bar (where entrees can cost upwards of $50.00 on their own), even the top-tier prices during Restaurant Week are still economical. Other exquisite and unique restaurants with Restaurant Week menus at this price range include 1500 Ocean at Hotel Del Coronado, Acqua California Bistro in Mission Bay, Amaya at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine in downtown San Diego, and Rei Do Gado Brazilian Steak House downtown.
However, you can still find wonderful food in the lower-tier range such as the American cuisine at Analog and succulent seafood at Anthony’s Fish Grotto in downtown San Diego, as well as Backyard Kitchen & Tap in Mission Bay, Hawaiian favorites at Bali Hai Restaurant at Point Loma, Apollonia Greek Bistro in Central San Diego, and the fresh rolls at Azuki Sushi in Uptown.
